Short description
Survey instead of excavation and destruction - New strategies in research at the Limes
Since the 1990's at the latest, the application and optimization of geophysical survey methods has made it possible in archaeological field research to explore monuments without destruction and without cost-intensive excavations, and thus to advance scientific research while taking into account the preservation of the sites.
