Short description
A standardized recording system for Neolithic and Metal Age pottery
Since
2007, a standardized pottery recording system for Neolithic pottery
from northern Central Europe (Ertebølle, Funnel Beaker Culture, Single
Grave Culture, Bell Beaker Culture) has been developed from the
processing of Funnel Beaker Period pottery inventories. At present, this
system is being extended at the Institute for Prehistory and Early
History of the FAU to include Metal Age pottery. The original
publication was done directly online via a content management system.
Since most users prefer a finished pdf version of the entire system with
all explanations (and the account at Kiel University has expired), it
is made available via the web pages of the UFG of FAU.
