Short description

The Linear Pottery settlement in Polch (~5300-5000 BC) is characterized by a very large pit with a high number of comparatively well-preserved pottery. For the processing and for the preparation of an exhibition, a cooperation between the Denkmalpflege in Koblenz (Generaldirektion Kulturelles Erbe Rheinland-Pfalz) and the FAU was established.
