Short description

Networking describes the establishment and use of social relationships in professional life - colloquially known as "vitamin B". Previous studies have only investigated the connections between networking and career success over short-term periods of up to 2 years. This project is the first to investigate the longer-term effect of networking on career success over a period of 9 years. It is an extension of the project "Networking in the course of a career", which was already funded by the Hans-Frisch-Foundation from 2001 - 2003.

Scientific Abstract
