So far, only relatively few evaluations of health interventions for unemployed people have been published. The aim of the planned meta-analysis is to collect the extant intervention studies trying to increase the health of the unemployed and to integrate them meta-analytically. In order to be able to make a general statement about the effectiveness of such interventions, a mean meta-analytical effect size for the comparison of intervention groups and control groups will be calculated. In order to be able to come to further conclusions about which characteristics of the treatment or the sample promote or hinder the success of the intervention, moderator analyzes will be carried out. Potentially content-relevant moderators relate, for example, to the intensity of the intervention, the duration of the intervention, the specific techniques and methods that were used during the intervention, etc. Moderator tests concerning the composition of the sample (e.g. the number of obstacles to reemployment, duration of unemployment, etc.) are also important, as they allow conclusions to be drawn about possible target groups with a high potential to benefit from an intervention.
