Scientific Abstract

In the ChroMo project, we are exploring the utilization of and motivation for monitoring interventions whose effectiveness has not been sufficiently proven. These include echocardiography for coronary heart disease and Doppler monitoring after a stroke. Interviews with physicians and patients as well as an analysis of health insurance data are used to assess the current state of care. Recommendations for the evaluation of monitoring measures will then be developed.
