Scientific Abstract
TIFA signaling plays a key role in the host cell response to the bacterial metabolite ADP-heptose. My preliminary results suggest that TIFA also plays a role in B lymphocytes. Notably, TIFA-deficient mice spontaneously develop B cell-dominant infiltrations and lymphoma-like structures in different organs, while TIFA-deficient B cells show an altered gene expression profile. This project aims to comprehensively study the role of TIFA in B lymphocytes in vitro and in vivo.
