Abstract

BAIOSPHERE MEDICAL 2026 brought clinicians, imaging scientists and AI researchers to Erlangen on 8–9 June 2026 to advance artificial intelligence in medical imaging — from methodological foundations to clinical translation. This volume collects the 93 peer-reviewed abstracts (Main and Highlight tracks) and four keynote lectures presented at the symposium, which was conceived only three months earlier at ECR 2026 in Vienna. Topics span medical imaging, general medical AI, benchmarking and generalization, multimodal fusion, oncology and neuroradiology. Open Access via FAU University Press.
